Romancing Lace Looks
The Pulse

When it comes to holiday, lace has always been a fashion designer’s best friend, as many of the best work myriad styles into the most lavish of gowns. This season, jewelry designers are also choosing the delicacies of Venetian and Parisian intricate openwork for everything from wide cuffs to medallions and rings. From the most delicate of Chantilly lace to needlepoint, embroideries, and heavier crochets, gold jewelry is having a romance with the light and airy swirls, scrolls, flowers, paisleys, and ribbon patterns found in these fabrics. Accented by sparkling pavé, rose cut champagne diamonds, or muted fancy colored sapphires, these pieces evoke a flirtatious or graceful femininity and charm.
